    Lucile Kirtley Laney was born on March 10, 1906. She married Benjamin Travis Laney on January 19, 1926; they had three sons. She served as the thirty-third First Lady of Arkansas from 1945 to 1949. She died on May 16, 1992 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery.
