    DescriptionLucile Laney's black Chantilly lace fingerless gloves she wore to her husband, Governor Benjamin Travis Laney, Jr.'s Inaugural Ball on January 9, 1945.

    Lucile Kirtley Laney was born on March 10, 1906. She married Benjamin Travis Laney on January 19, 1926; they had three sons. She served as the thirty-third First Lady of Arkansas from 1945 to 1949. She died on May 16, 1992 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery.
