DescriptionThe statue has Jefferson and Napoleon standing side by side. Napoleon has his uniform and hat on and has his right hand placed on a table that has "1904" on the front. Jefferson has a long coat and a hat, his left hand is also on the same table. Jefferson is holding the 1803 Treaty. The base of the statue contains has the following inscriptions: On one front side, it states "Lousiana Purchase." On the side under Napoleon states "Napoleon." On the back side of the base Pat. Sep 3 1901. -No 35019-." On the side of Jefferson exposes "Jefferson."
