    DescriptionVintage plate from the World's Fair Exposition in St. Louis in 1904. The center of the plate has a shield with the top half one third of the shield in blue with two rows of stars. The bottom two-thirds of the shield has red and white stripes running from top to bottom. Two American flags with poles cross underneath the shield. The American Eagle is perched on the top center of the shield. Directly above the eagle is a circular portrait of George Washington. To the right of the shield is a circular portrait of Lafayette. Below the shield is a circular portrait of Napoleon and to the left of the shield is a portrait of Jefferson. Each portrait is has a grey background and has a gold border encirling the portrait. Underneath Napoleon is a banner with "St. Louis, 1904" written across it. The plate has five floral arrangements painted unto the plate. Each arrangement is positioned along the face of the plate near the rim of the plate. The rim of the plate is painted in gold.
