    DescriptionSouvenir plate purchased at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis. The plate is white with a blue ink pattern displayed on the front. An image of Napoleon is in the center of the plate. Around the rim of the plate are drawings of four exhibition halls (Palace of Electricity, Palace of Liberal Arts, Palace of Machinery, and Hall of Festivals). Directly beneath the portrait of Napoleon are the words "1803-1904, Louisiana Purchase Souvenir Plate." On the back of the plate in the center are the words, "Registered by the Victoria Art Co., New York, St. Louis, Saratoga Springs." There is a picture of an eagle with a ribbon around him. On part of the ribbon is "Made in England."
