    DescriptionVintage souvenir spoon from the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The spoon has a picture of the Palace of Machinery on the bowl. Thomas Jefferson's portrait is embossed at the top of the handle with an American flag and maybe the Missouri state flag crossed below an eagle. 1904 St. Louis is embossed up the length of the front handle. The back is decorated with a picture of Cascade Gardens and the Louisiana Purchase Monument. The spoon was made by U.S. Silver Co. This has plate loss on the base and part of the bowl where some of the original brass is showing.
