    DescriptionA wooden plaque presented to Arkansas native Patsy Montana titled "Pioneer Award."

    It consists of a metal plate engraved with black lettering and decorative music notes. It was presented on December 7, 1991 for her contribution to early country and western music by the Society for the Preservation of Early Country and Western Music, Inc. The plaque was made by Brown's Trophies Inc. in Tampa, Florida.

    Patsy Montana was born Ruby Rose Blevins on October 30, 1908 in Beaudry, Arkansas and grew up near Hope, Arkansas. She was a singer and musician. She performed on various national radio shows including the popular, National Barn Dance”. She also appeared in several movies. Montana died May 3, 1996.
