    DescriptionA plaque presented to Patsy Montana by the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum.

    The plaque is wooden with an ornate leather pattern surrounding an engraving. It was given in 1992 and reads "Music of the West Award." It was given in recognition of her significant contribution to western music. The plaque was made by Sunset Trails.

    Patsy Montana was born Ruby Rose Blevins on October 30, 1908 in Beaudry, Arkansas and grew up near Hope, Arkansas. She was a singer and musician. She performed on various national radio shows including the popular, National Barn Dance”. She also appeared in several movies. Montana died May 3, 1996.
