DescriptionTwo promotional movie posters of "Deadeye Dewey and the Arkansas Kid", also known as "The Bootleggers". The movie was produced and directed by Charles B. Pierce who grew up in Arkansas. The poster features a silhouette of a figure standing near a vehicle. The upper half of the poster is orange and features reviews of the movie. The title and credits are situated at the bottom of the poster. Charles B. Pierce, writer, director, producer, is considered one of the first independent filmmakers. Pierce directed thirteen films over the span of 26 years, but is best known for The Legend of Boggy Creek (1973) and The Town That Dreaded Sundown (1976). Pierce was born in Hammond, Indiana, but moved to Hampton, Arkansas early in his childhood. He died in 2010 in Dover, Tennessee.
