DescriptionPoster from the Charles B. Pierce's 1974 movie "Bootleggers," starring Slim Pickens, Paul Kelso, and Jaclyn Smith. The poster is black and white with red and white print. The poster shows an image of a man standing next to a car on a mountain. Filmed on location in Arkansas, the movie is about a feud between bootleggers in the Ozark Mountains.

The film was directed and produced by Charles B. Pierce (1938-2010), a producer, director, and actor. Although born in Indiana, Pierce's family moved to Texarkana, Arkansas, right after he was born. Pierce made a number of movies about the South during his career, including "The Town that Dreaded Sundown," a film based on the serial killer the Phantom from Texarkana, Arkansas, during the 1940s. "Bootleggers" was Pierce's second film after "The Legend of Boggy Creek."
