DescriptionBadge from the Grand Army of the Republic. The Grand Army of the Republic was a society for Union veterans.A round celluloid ribbon hangs from an American flag ribbon. The ribbon is attached to a metal and celluloid pin. On the pin in blue lettering: "Member". On the round medallion in black print: "34th Annual Encampment/Dept. of Arkansas/Ft. Smith/April 27, 1916". In the middle of the medallion is an photograph of C.S. Warn, commander. Made by the St. Louis Button Company.
