    Description1897 G.A.R. Tennessee Delegate badge. Round, cream-colored, celluloid medallion hanging from a red ribbon, which is attached to a gold metal bar. On the ribbon in gold lettering: "14th Annual Encampment Tennessee/ June 2 & 3, 1897". The celluloid medallion is edged with metal. In the center is a black and white image of Halbert B. Case. Around the medallion in black lettering: "Department Commander/Halbert B. Case/Tennessee G.A.R. 1897". On the back of the medallion in black lettering: "Grand Army of the Republic" and an image of a shield? Made by C.S. Cole & Co. in Chicago.
