DescriptionBadge from the Grand Army of the Republic. The Grand Army of the Republic was a society for Union veterans. Cream colored. Ribbon with two crossed American flags hangs from a metal and celluloid pin. On the pin in blue lettering: "G.A.R." A round metal and celluloid medallion hangs from the ribbon. On the medallion in black print: "33rd Annual Encampment/Dept. of Arkansas/Little Rock/March 10, 1915". In the center of the medallion is an image of an eagle, an American flag and a star.
