DescriptionRemington model 11, 12 gauge shotgun. It is a factory made riot gun with an 18 inch barrel. It is marked on the left side of the receiver "Police Gun-Property of the Arkansas State Police." It was manufactured in 1939 and was probably the first department purchased long gun. Reports indicate examples of this weapon were in use up to the 1960's.Status
