Johnny Cash was born John R. Cash on February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas and raised in Dyess, Arkansas. Nicknamed “The Man in Black”, he was a singer/songwriter, actor and author (writing two autobiographies). He acted in both movies and television (including his own variety show, The Johnny Cash Show). Cash died September 12, 2003.
A Johnny Cash record album entitled "The Fabulous Johnny Cash". The cover features a photograph of Cash wearing a suit and holding a guitar on his lap. "The Fabulous" is printed in pink and "Johnny Cash" is printed in white ink. The back cover features song titles as well as a black and white photograph of Johnny Cash sitting on a woodpile with his guitar.
