    Glen Campbell (1936- ) was born in Billstown, near Delight in Pike County, Arkansas. He is a country music singer, television host and actor. He is best known for his role in the 1969 movie True Grit and his TV variety show (1969-1971) “The Glen Campbell Good Time Hour.

    Johnny Cash was born John R. Cash on February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas and raised in Dyess, Arkansas. Nicknamed “The Man in Black”, he was a singer/songwriter, actor and author (writing two autobiographies). He acted in both movies and television (including his own variety show, The Johnny Cash Show). Cash died September 12, 2003.
