The front cover of the song book has a 5 x 7portrait of Jimmy Wakely wearing a cowboy hat. The background of the picture is in green. The back cover is a biography of Wakely's life. The book shows some tears and wear along the binding.

    James Clarence Wakeley, better known as Jimmy Wakely, was born in Mineola, Howard County, Arkansas on February 16, 1914. He was a country western singer and actor. From 1930s-1950s, he released records, appeared in several western movies with most major studios, appeared on radio and television, and had his own series of comic books. He appeared in over 65 films and TV episodes. Wakely died on September 23, 1982 in California.
