DescriptionA bumper sticker supporting the revisions proposed to the Arkansas state constitution in 1970. The sticker has a blue background and yellow text that reads, "Vote for the Constitution of 1970." During Governor Rockefeller's tenure in office, the seventh state constitutional convention met from 1969-1970. The proposed constitution was a progressive document which went on to be rejected by the voters.

Winthrop Rockefeller was born on May 1, 1912 in New York City, New York and moved to Morrilton, Arkansas in 1953. Rockefeller lost the 1964 Governor's election to Gov. Orval Faubus before becoming the thirty-seventh Governor of Arkansas in 1967. Rockefeller died of pancreatic cancer on February 22, 1973, in Palm Springs, California.
