She also has a pink bow in her hair and is wearing a white dress. Below her the poster reads, "My Daddy Bought Me a Government Bond of the Third Liberty Loan Did Yours?" "Third Liberty Loan" is in blue and the rest of the text is in read.

    Liberty loans/bonds were sold by the United States government during WWI as a way to finance the war. Citizens would by the bonds, which loaned the money to the government, and the government would repay them at a later date.
