    DescriptionA letterman's sweater from Little Rock High School belonging to Willian H. Maack, class of 1940. The sweater is made from grey wool and has the varsity letters "L" and "R" located in the center of the sweater. The letter "L" is black and the "R" is yellow; the "R" is located inside of the "L." On the left arm is a yellow patch in the shape of a football with "Champions 1938" embroidered in it in black thread as well the details to define the football. Two black lines are located below the commemorative patch as well.

    William H. Maack was born on December 7, 1920 in Little Rock, AR. He graduated from Little Rock High School in 1940 and joined the Little Rock Police Department in January of 1942. He served in the U.S. Army during World War Two, and returned to the Little Rock Police Department in 1947.
