    DescriptionFrench dress with fitted basque, square neckline, short sleeves with wide puffs on the sides. Flared skirt ending in a fan shaped train with wide ruffles with pleated headings edging the skirt and train. A belted bow in the same material is at the waist. Hook-eye closures.

    Originally owned and worn by Mrs. Marlina Ann Bell. It was bought in a New York Fifth Avenue shop. Later worn in 1940 by Alice Davies Harris.
