The Grand Army of the Republic was a society for Union veterans.A yellow and red ribbon hangs from a pin that is in the shape of an eagle holding two flags. On the ribbon in gold lettering: "Arkansas". A medallion hangs from the ribbon. On the medallion in black print: "Grand Army of the Republic". In the middle of the medallion is an image of an eagle attached to an American flag and large star.
