    DescriptionTwo United States flags. The smaller of the two flags is constructed of paper and cardboard, while the larger is made of cloth. Both are the modern federal flag, consisting of fifty white stars on blue field with alternating red and white stripes towards the fly end.

    George Edward Fisher was born on April 8, 1923 near Searcy, Arkansas. Fisher was a political cartoonist whose work influenced and helped define Arkansas politics for a generation. In 1943, he was called to active duty with the Army Reserves. Fisher passed away on December 15, 2003 of a heart attack at his drawing board in his Little Rock home.
