Koehler was from St. Clair Co., Illinois and mustered into service as a private in Co. H. He ended the war as a 1st Lieut. in Co. E. There is an Emil Koehler buried in Oakland Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas - his birth dates and place of birth match this Koehler.
Fuess was from Belleville, Illinois. He joined in Belleville in Sept., 1861 at the age of 19 and mustered in at Otterville, MO. He entered service as a sergeant in Co. H and ended the war as a captain in Co. E. He lists himself as German and his occupation as a clerk.
Luckner was from St. Clair Co., Illinois. He joined in Belleville at the age of 27 and mustered in at Otterville, MO. Luckner entered into Co. H as a corporal and ended the war as a 1st Lieut in Co E. He lists himself as German and a farmer. Luckner died in 1888 and is buried in College Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Illinois.
All three were mustered out of service on November 30, 1865.
