    DescriptionCarte de visite of Captain Maus.
    Rectangular piece of light brown card stock paper with a smaller rectangular image adhered to the front. The image depicts a man standing in Union military dress in front of a draped curtain backdrop. At his side, the man is holding a kipi in his right hand with his left on the hilt of his sword. The reverse of the image is blank, but the album inscription identified the man as Captain Maus.
