DescriptionBlack and white photograph of Elizabeth Lucy Snow Ansley seated and holding hat. Signed "Harris" in lower right corner, stamped "Harris Foto" at bottom right. She was born February 26, 1848 in Birmingham, Alabama to Willis Isaac and Sarah Forester Snow. In 1852 the family moved to Magnolia, Arkansas and later to a plantation in Columbia County. Eliza married Josiah Chapel Ansley, April 5, 1872 in Columbia County. She died October 18, 1905, at Nashville, in Howard County, Arkansas and is buried in Center Point Cemetery.
