    Description"Privates' Manual" (second edition, revised and enlarged) by Major James A. Moss. Printed in June 1917 by the George Banta Publishing Company in Menasha, Wisconsin. The book has a light blue cover with the title and author printed in black text, appearing in a small box in the upper left-hand corner of the cover. The book contains a prefatory statement by the author, the Patriot's Military Creed, an index, and sixteen chapters that cover basic training of military privates. The book contains 395 printed pages followed by five pages of advertisements. McFaddin Collection.
