Glen Campbell (1936- ) was born in Billstown, near Delight in Pike County, Arkansas. He is a country music singer, television host and actor. He is best known for his role in the 1969 movie True Grit and his TV variety show (1969-1971) “The Glen Campbell Good Time Hour.
A Glen Campbell record album entitled "Southern Nights". The front cover of the album features a color photograph of Campbell leaning agains a porch rail with a floral painting in his lap. The background contains a southern landscape. The back cover features song titles. "Southern Nights" was produced by Capitol Records in 1977.
