    Pistol appears to be .44 cal, six shot, cap and ball. Serial number 11599 appears in four places on underside of pistol and on cylinder as well. "Address Col Sam.L Colt New - York U.S. America" engraved on top of barrel. Sept. 10, 1850 stamped on cylinder. Has brass trigger guard and walnut grips.
