    DescriptionHand sewn quilt called "Broken Dishes" pattern. Sixty-three blocks composed of fan squares which have 8 pieces to each square. These 8 pieces are squares and triangles which make up a bigger square. There is no pattern to the arrangement of the blocks which is characteristic of black quilt makers. The colors used are very vibrant such as red, egg blue, pink and orange.
