DescriptionTreasurer of State badge belonging to Nancy Hall. The badge is round with a point on four sides. Engraved in blue letters at the top is: "N.J. Hall" Around the center of the badge reads: "Treasurer of the state of Arkansas" In the center of the badge is the seal of the state of Arkansas in gold.

Nancy Johnson Hall (1904–1991) was the first woman in Arkansas to be elected to a constitutional office. Upon the death of her husband C.G. "Crip" Hall in 1961, she was appointed to serve the remainder of his term as secretary of state by Governor Orval Faubus. Hall then went on to be elected as Arkansas state treasurer in 1962, running unopposed in the general election as a Democrat. Hall served as treasurer for 18 years.
