DescriptionTreasurer of State badge belonging to Nancy Hall. At the top of the circular gold badge, there is a bald eagle with its wings spread. "Nancy Hall " is engraved in blue lettering below the head. In the center of the badge are two rings with text. The outer ring engraving reads: "Treasurer of State." The inner ring is royal blue, and is engraved with gold text. The text reads: "State of Arkansas"

Nancy Johnson Hall (1904–1991) was the first woman in Arkansas to be elected to a constitutional office. Upon the death of her husband C.G. "Crip" Hall in 1961, she was appointed to serve the remainder of his term as secretary of state by Governor Orval Faubus. Hall then went on to be elected as Arkansas state treasurer in 1962, running unopposed in the general election as a Democrat. Hall served as treasurer for 18 years.
