DescriptionChristmas card from Nancy Hall. The background of the card is red and has gold text which reads "To wish you peace at Christmas time and throughout the coming year, Nancy (Mrs."Crip") Hall, Treasurer of State. A gold dove with an olive branch is printed above the text. The words "and yours" have been hand-written in black ink above the first line of text, between the words "you" and "peace" Nancy Hall's portrait is printed to the left of the text.

Nancy Johnson Hall (1904–1991) was the first woman in Arkansas to be elected to a constitutional office. Upon the death of her husband C.G. "Crip" Hall in 1961, she was appointed to serve the remainder of his term as secretary of state by Governor Orval Faubus. Hall then went on to be elected as Arkansas state treasurer in 1962, running unopposed in the general election as a Democrat. Hall served as treasurer for 18 years.
