    DescriptionGovernor Huckabee Christmas card and envelope. The front of the card is a color photograph of Governor and Mrs. Huckabee in front of the Old State House. A horse and carriage is behind them. The interior card has individual’s photographs of their children and their dog with a Bible verse and Christmas message.

    Michael Dale Huckabee was born on August 24, 1955 in Hope, Arkansas. In 1996, Huckabee was sworn in as the forty-fourth governor of Arkansas. Huckabee was reelected in 1998. During his time as governor he led campaigns to rebuild the state highway system, pushed for Arkansas's tobacco settlement to be used for the state's health care system, and also began a push for educational reform. Huckabee and his wife currently live in Florida.
