DescriptionA white crepe gown designed by Michael Toccin of New York City for Sarah Huchtinson Wengel. Wengel wore this gown at her father's, Governor Asa Hutchinson, Second Gudernatorial Inaugural Ball on January 15, 2019. The trumpet-style gown has a v-neck with two horizontal white pieces under the bustline. The two straps also form a bow with floor-length sashes in the back. Toccin was inspired by Governor Hutchinson's 2016 campaign slogan "A New Day," and the concept of renewal inspired Toccin during the design process.

Sarah Hutchins Wengel is the daughter of Governor Asa Hutchinson and First Lady Susan Burrell Hutchinson. Sarah and her husband, Dave, served on the second inaugural ball committee. The committee chose winter wonderland as the ball's theme. Toccin is also a personal friend of Wengel, and Wengel was his first private customer.
