    DescriptionThis ensemble, popular in the 1890's, is a skirt and blouse combination. This belonged to Elizabeth Lucy Snow Ansley.


    The blouse is black with black and white striped full mutton sleeves. Sleeves taper slightly to wrist. Collar is high and attached at back. Lace trims the yoke and collar and the bodice in black matching the skirt material. Blouse (Back Length-18" Waist-27").

    Skirt is ankle length in satin type finish with black canvas lining with velvet bound hem and percale lining. Skirt (Back length 43" Waist 22").
