DescriptionAct 561 signed by Governor Asa Hutchinson and members of the 91st General Assembly. The Senate Bill was encated into Act 561 on March 6th, 2017. Act 561 is to seperate Robert E. Lee and Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and to specify the teaching content related to Martin Luther King Jr. Robert E. Lee day has been moved to the second Saturday of October. The act has also amends Title 6 of the Arkansas code concerning Arkansas History education requirements in K-12 Grades.
