DescriptionAfghan knitted by African-American Lida Montgomery from southern Arkansas. Montgomery made quilts in the 1940's and 1950's. She moved into making afghans in the 1970's. The afghan has a thin purple border with white and purple stripes running the width of the blanket.Status
