    DescriptionAn embroidered floral quilt made by African-American Arkansans, Callie Mae Carter. This patchwork quilt consists of alternating colors having an appearance similar to a checker board. In the whiter squares is an embroidered floral pattern. This square then alternates with a simple single color patchwork square, and continues to follow the alternating pattern of single color patchwork square, embroidered floral pattern.
