Terms
The skirt is ribbed cotton/silk blend. A lacework design is sewn into the skirt 12.5" below the waist and is repeated 4.5" below the first row of lace. The lace work is also ivory colored in cotton thread. The design is in a large rick rack shape. Silk ruffled trim lines the seam between skirt and material and lace inserts. Three rows of ruffle line the bottom of the skirt.
The top is the same fabric on lace with lace inserts on each sleeve, V-neck line and bust area. Tapered waist, smocking on shoulders. Neck has lilac velvet ribbon threaded through with lilac bows in back. Slik lining with hooks down the back.
