The letter reads: "November 7, 1983." "Mrs. Lucy K. Robinson, Director. /Aransas Commemorative Commission. / 300 West Markham/ Little Rock, Arkansas 72201."/ "Dear Lucy,/ Please forgive the inordinate delay in my response to your thoughtful letter of September 1st, but it was addressed to 2017 Boylston East in Seattle, where I have not resided in more than a year. Your communication only reached me last Friday, and I hope I am not too late in providing the infromation, enclosed, which you requested./ Also, with reference to the Saturday, March 10th date mentioned in your letter, I'm sorry to advise that my present plans call for my being out of the United States during that period, so it would be impossible for me to be with you. I am sorry to offer "regrets" so early in your planning, but I assume you would prefer to know well in advance that I would be unavailable during late February and most of March./ You may want to note my current (permanent) address for your files: 1500 Broadway East, Seattle, Washington 98102. Telephone--(206) 325-1428./ Thanks again for thinking of me, and I hope the questionnaire date is not too late. With warmest good wishes,/ Sincerely,/ Jeannette."
