DescriptionAdvertistement for Jergens make-up featuring Hot Springs native Imogen Carpenter.Imogen Carpenter was born Mary Imogene Carpenter in 1912 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was a composer (“If Winter Comes”), singer and pianist in night clubs, on radio, and in theaters. She appeared in the Broadway musicals “Ziegfeld Follies of 1941” and “Mexican Hayride.” She died March 24, 1993 in Los Angeles, California.
