DescriptionAlbumen photograph of Captain Ezra Fitch. Fitch enlisted on June 1, 1862 in Springfield, Missouri and served in Co. C of the 1st Arkansas Cavalry (Union). He was promoted to Major during the war. Fitch applied for a pension in 1868.The photograph was probably taken in Springfield or St. Louis, Missouri. Fitch is standing and wearing a Union uniform. He holds a sword in one hand.
