James Clarence Wakeley, better known as Jimmy Wakely, was born in Mineola, Howard County, Arkansas on February 16, 1914. He was a country western singer and actor. From 1930s-1950s, he released records, appeared in several western movies with most major studios, appeared on radio and television, and had his own series of comic books. He appeared in over 65 films and TV episodes. Wakely died on September 23, 1982 in California.
A Jimmy Wakely album entitled "Heartaches". The cover features a color photograph of Wakely wearing a turtleneck shirt, brown jacket, and playing a guitar. The image is placed upon a blue background with "Heartaches" placed in the top right corner in pink and blue text and a song list situated to the right of the composition.
