DescriptionRoy Rogers and Dale Evans lunchbox. Evans was a childhood resident of Osceola.Dale Evans was born Lucille Wood Smith (she later changed her name to Frances Octavia Smith) on October 31, 1912, in Uvalde, Texas, and spent part of childhood in Osceola, Arkansas. Smith finally changed her named to Dale Evans to help boost her singing career. She was an actress, writer and singer and was best known for her partnership with her husband, Roy Rogers. They co-starred in “The Roy Rogers Show” and the “The Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Show." She also wrote the song “Happy Trails" and appeared in 40 movies. Evans died on February 7, 2001.

The front image of the lunchbox shows Roy Rogers on on his horse Trigger and Dale Evans in front of a white fence and sign for the Double R Bar Ranch. The background is a depiction of the sky in light blue. There is a metal handle on top with a metal latch to close the lunchbox.
