    DescriptionLittle Rock Fire Department alarm box. Red, metal, house-shaped box. Front has a door with hinges on the right side. In the center of the door is a smaller door. Below window: "Then Pull Down Hook". Inside the small door is a metal hook and words: "Pull Down Hook". The big door has the words: "For Fire" and at the bottom of the box: "The Gamewell Co., Newton, Massachusetts". A metal plaque is affixed to the front door below smaller door. Key hold with hinged cover is in the big door to the left of the small door. Above front door and below the roof is a symbol of a fist grasping lightening bolts over the word "Gamewell". The sides of the box have the word "Fire" in red letters on a white background. The back of the box has several holes for entry of wires or bolts.

    The Gamewell Co. is still in operation after 150 years.
