    DescriptionSepia toned mailing card from the 1909 United Confederate Veterans Reunion in Memphis, Tennessee. The front of the card has a photograph of General W.L. Cabell. Underneath the photograph: "General W.L. Cabell/Commander, Trans-Mississippi Department/U.C.V. Reunion/Memphis/June 8-9-10, 1909/Compliments of/Hotel Gayoso/Peabody Hotel"

    The card was postmarked Dec. 29, 1910. Mailed to Capt. John G. McCain in DeQueen, Arkansas from B.P. Haynes in Hope, Arkansas.

    Haynes served in the 1st Arkansas Cavalry and was Adjutant of the Gratiot U.C.V. Camp in Hope, Arkansas. McCain was the former commander of the 4th brigade, Arkansas Division, U.C.V. in DeQueen, Arkansas.
