DescriptionBlack and white postcard of George Bourke, a young boy who attended the 1911 U.C.V. Reunion in Little Rock. Bourke, who was four years old at the time, is dressed in a Confederate uniform and holding a Confederate flag. From Texarkana, Texas, Bourke's great-grandfather, B.J. Eppes, served in the Confederacy during the Civil War. His grandfather, W.T. Eppes, also served with the Confederacy during the Civil War (in Co. F, 34th Virginia).
There was an article about this picture in the Aug., 1911 edition of the Confederate Veteran's Magazine.
