    DescriptionPink silk and embroidery lingerie bag belonging to Anne Brough. Pink ribbon ties for a drawstring closure at top. The bottom is cross-stitch embroidery in green, pink, and taupe with 15 red beads per side. 11 remain total.

    Anne Brough was the twenty-fifth First Lady of Arkansas, 1917-1921. During World War I, Anne served as an active Chairman for the Woman’s Auxiliary of State Council of Defense, the Red Cross's supply- making sessions and Liberty and Victory Loans. Anne also made appearances at Suffragette Rallies in support of the right for woman to vote in the United States.
