    DescriptionCarte de visite of General Rice, made at Brown's Gallery in Little Rock, Arkansas.

    Rectangular piece of light brown card stock paper with a smaller rectangular image adhered to the front. The image depicts an oval portrait of a man in a Union frock coat with epaulets. Beneath the original place of the image in the album is the handwritten inscription "General Rice." The reverse side of the CDV has the imprint of William Brown's studio in Little Rock, Arkansas.
